The other thing I do, Cook.
I love to cook. Yesterday I did homemade applesauce (easy and the apples were going to start to go soonish, so….) I also made what my wife calls the worst pumpkin pie she ever ever tasted and she will sacrifice herself and eat the pie to save me the horror
. Hmm, don’t think so.
Today I’m doing Salt Roasted Shrimp and some store bought lobster cakes. In general, I think Alton Brown is the best thing on the Food Network.
I also made a double batch of AB’s eggnog recipe. Leave it sit in the fridge for a while (a week min) and you have some seriously good drink. Making a double batch isn’t any harder than making one, and it will last a week this way. I use pasteurized eggs for it since it calls for raw eggs. I don’t know that its absolutely necessary, but… I mean, who doesn’t eat cookie dough? BTW, if you don’t like the taste of the whiskey, let it sit in the fridge for a while, after a week, the taste of the booze basically disappears in the goodness.
