Yesterday, February 15th, my mom passed away. I thought I had been prepared, I’d been expecteding it for quite some time, but it still hit with a hammer.
My mom had Alzheimer’s, a terrible insidious disese. In my opinion is was a secondary problem called by her battle wih Hydrocephalus (excess of fluid around the brain). She’d been dealing with it for a number of years.
Even though my mom hasn’t really been around for a while, today I miss her more than ever.
